Support for families

If your family is experiencing domestic violence, sexual abuse, or gendered abuse, and you are concerned about the well-being of your child, it is crucial to emphasize that this abuse is not their fault. Children often feel responsible for their parents' actions, leading to feelings of guilt and self-blame. Their safety must always be the top priority, and help is always available.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided assistance to parents supporting their children's education by offering internet access, educational resources, and tips for effective learning at home.

Panahghar has dedicated Family Support Practitioners in Coventry who provides ongoing support to children and young people residing in our supported accommodations, outreach and who are from the communities we serve.

We also offer educational support programs for young people to help them develop a healthy understanding of relationships and empower them to recognize signs of potential domestic abuse.
